Paediatric/Early Years and Emergency First Aid courses

My one day intensive Early Years/Paediatric course is a particularly good course for those working with and caring for other people's children as it gives a thorough grounding all likely elements of First Aid and in addition I cover adult CPR as well as CPR in babies and children. The course covers all elements of the Ofsted syllabus, incorporating all commonly occurring injuries and illnesses, and is held at my house in Balham. The course is arranged for a small group of individuals and runs from 9:15-3:30, it costs £125pp on weekdays and £135 at weekends. Everyone receives a full course manual and an Early Years Certificate valid for 3 years will be awarded on the day. I also teach the 12 hour full 2 day Early Years course which covers exactly the same course content, in a larger group, at a slower pace, I only teach the 12 hour course for group bookings. My next one day Early Years/Paediatric course is on Saturday 4th September in Westminster and then Friday 10^th September in Balham, Thursday 23^rd September, Friday 1^st October and Thursday 21st October. As there are very limited numbers on each course they book up really fast, so please let me know as soon as possible if you would like to book onto one.

The Emergency course is a 3 hour course covering care of the unconscious adult, baby and child as well as commonly occurring injuries and illnesses in children: choking, drowning, bleeding, burns, head injury, fitting... The courses are run from my house in Ramsden Road, Balham, in small groups and everyone receives a course manual and an Emergency First Aid Certificate valid for 3 years. The cost for these courses is £60pp on weekdays and £65 at weekends. My next Emergency First Aid course is on Thursday 9th September, from 10.00 to 13.00 Thursday 7th October and Tuesday 19th October. My colleague Jess is running Emergency courses in Westminster on  Saturdays 18th September and  16th October in Westminster.

I also run scheduled 3 hour Paediatric & baby First Aid courses for parents and childcarers who would like a comprehensive First Aid course covering CPR, care of the unconscious child and commonly occurring injuries and illnesses – but do not need to be Ofsted Registered. These are often combined with the Emergency courses above.

Acute allergic reaction / Anaphylactic shock and use of an Epipen can also be incorporated into any of the courses.

The Emergency First Aid at Work course / Appointed Person is a one day HSE approved course covering care of the unconscious adult as well as commonly occurring injuries and illnesses in adults. The full course outline can be seen on my website. The course can also be adapted to include children if required. The cost for this course is £150pp

All scheduled courses are run in groups of around 8 people. Bespoke courses can be organised at group rates, for larger numbers, at your venue.
