First Aid for Schools
This course has been specifically designed to provide schools with an adapted HSE Approved EFAW course covering both adult and child First Aid suitable for a school setting. The course is available for schools to book as a group, or for individuals to attend one of the scheduled courses. Individuals book to attend the scheduled Ofsted Paediatric courses and additional areas pertinent to the HSE EFAW courses will be covered specifically for them, on that day. All attendees will receive comprehensive First Aid manuals accompanying the course and certificates valid for 3 years.
The Paediatric course fulfilling Ofsted criteria is also suitable for schools and we will adapt this to ensure that it is relevant to you particular school and include areas you may need for pupils with specific health issues.
Specific short courses are also available for staff needing First Aid for playground duty or students requiring First Aid certification for qualifications such as the Sports Award, Duke of Edinburgh Award, Gap Year… Courses also arranged for students wishing to have a recognised qualification when applying for babysitting and child care jobs.
