Emma S

Emma S is a Lifeguard and a regular trainer for First Aid for Life. People love her matter-of-fact approach and appreciate that, as a mother of 2 small children, she can empathise with the anxieties of new parents and give them the knowledge they need in a reassuring and practical manner.

Emma’s background is in the leisure industry where she worked for 20 years; starting as a lifeguard and moving on to manage a large team of Sports Development Officers and a Leisure Centre.  Throughout this time she managed the training programme for the highly qualified lifeguards specialising in spinal injuries and sports injuries. In addition Emma ran specific first aid awareness and sports coaching sessions with particular expertise in Netball and Swimming.  Emma frequently trains Corporate clients and Community Groups but as a caring mother of two, her passion remains with Paediatric First Aid.
