About Us
First Aid for Life was established in 2006 prompted by frustration at the lack of good quality courses taught by experienced and suitably qualified trainers. As a qualified Nurse and mother, Emma knew how important it is to have hands on practice and really understand what needs to happen in an emergency situation. First Aid for Life quickly established an outstanding reputation for delivering top quality First Aid training adapted to ensure that it is relevant to the people attending.
We care whether you feel confident and in addition to providing superb practical training, we give you an excellent First Aid manual to accompany the course and are also very happy for you to contact us at any point following the course, for clarification on any First Aid issues or concerns. We aim to equip you with the skills and confidence to know what to do should the unexpected happen. We do not teach by rote, but use varied and practical teaching, illustrated with real-life examples, to help you to understand what you need to do and why you need to do it.
Like The Red Cross and St John Ambulance, we are approved and monitored by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). As independent providers however, we are able to teach in small groups with varied course content adjusted to be totally relevant to your needs.
Our Trainers are all medical or emergency professionals, who have used their First Aid in the real world and know what they are talking about.
